On Feed Icons and Favicons
The RSS Advisory Board has unanimously adopted the common feed icon as the one true icon to rule them all. A lot of momentum has built up around this over the past few months. All of my site designs are going to include some version of it from here on and I hope yours will as well.
Speaking of icons, I wasn’t familiar with the concept of an animated favicon until the last week or so. It has apparently gotten more popular of late and the technique has been refined. Whether or not you use this one is definitely your choice.
